Control small hive beetles without chemicals. This reusable plastic trap hangs between frames in a Langstroth hive. Slots are large enough for beetles to enter, but too small for honey bees. 9″ length
Fill the reservoirs about halfway with mineral oil or vegetable oil. Beetles hide from the bees, drop into the oil, and cannot escape. Check and empty during regular inspections. Rinse and refill as needed.
Best placement is between the outer frames of the top brood box. Use two traps per hive when beetle pressure is high.
