About Stefan Braun:
My earliest memories of beekeeping are of my father tending bees on our family farm in the coastal mountain range of Oregon. Beyond my youthful experiences, I have dedicated much time and effort learning to care for honey bees. These efforts have afforded me the ability to maintain colonies with survival rates that all beekeepers strive to attain. When I raised bees in Nevada, I developed and coordinated the local club’s mentor program, as well as built out and taught the beekeeping classes offered to the community. While mentoring new beekeepers, I advocate for responsible animal husbandry because honey bees are not wild animals but rather domesticated livestock.
